Shipping Policy

This page explains how we process, ship, and deliver SEWTECH machines. All lead times are estimates in business days (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays) and may vary by carrier and destination.

USA & Germany Warehouses Door-to-Door with Liftgate Online Tutorials & Offline Training

1) Order Processing

Processing time: typically 1–3 business days to prepare your order for dispatch.

Confirmation: After checkout you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Before shipping, your sales representative reconfirms your address/phone and aligns the shipping plan with you.

2) Fulfillment Methods

Overseas Warehouses (USA / Germany)

Door-to-door delivery with liftgate truck (curbside/threshold by default). A tracking number is issued after pickup, and the local carrier contacts you to schedule delivery.

Typical overall lead time: 4–14 days including local scheduling and hand-offs.

Direct from China (Sea / Rail)

Used for countries not covered by our overseas warehouses. Shipped by sea or rail to the destination country, then handed to a local carrier for final delivery.

Typical overall lead time: 20–60 days depending on route and distance.

3) Shipping Flow (Overseas Warehouses)

Order Confirmed: We confirm order details by email and align the shipping plan with you.

Dispatch: Your rep arranges shipment based on warehouse location and inventory.

Tracking & Appointment: Once the carrier picks up, we send the tracking number; the local carrier will call/text to schedule delivery.

Delivery: Liftgate truck unloads the machine to your curb/door. Inside placement/upstairs service is not included by default.

4) Estimated Transit Time (Shipping Stage Only)

Times below refer to the transport phase and do not include order processing. Remote areas, severe weather, customs, port congestion or holidays may add 3–7 days.

* Brazil/Chile are listed here because some lanes may be fulfilled from Europe; if not covered, the route switches to sea freight from China (final plan confirmed after order).

5) Shipping Fees, Duties & Taxes

Shipping fees: As shown at checkout or quoted by your sales representative. Oversize/remote surcharges may apply (we’ll confirm first).

Duties & VAT:

  • Local warehouse → same country: typically no import duty for the recipient.
  • International sea/rail (from China): default term is DAP (duties/taxes paid by receiver). Need DDP? Contact us before ordering.

Invoices & declared value: We follow applicable laws. For business invoices (company name/tax ID), tell us after ordering.

6) Delivery & Receiving

Service level: curbside/threshold with liftgate. Inside placement, upstairs, uncrating, installation are not included by default (available on request, extra fees).

Upon delivery: Inspect the crate/pallet before signing. If any visible damage/shortage, note on the receipt and take photos; contact your rep within 48 hours.

7) Training & Setup (Highly Recommended)

Schedule our offline, hands-on machine training (threading, tension, needle changes, cap driver & garment techniques, troubleshooting). We also provide online tutorial videos and remote support to help you start production quickly.

8) Address Changes & Contact

Address change: One free change before dispatch (subject to warehouse cut-off). After dispatch, reconsignment/re-delivery/storage fees are billed by the carrier and payable by the recipient.
